About Us

The Institute for Vaginal Health (IVH) is a rapidly expanding network of healthcare providers dedicated to recognizing and supporting the crucial role of the vaginal microbiome in patient well-being. Our diverse community encompasses a wide array of medical reproductive specialties, enabling us to effectively address a broad spectrum of vaginal health concerns.

IVH members gain access to valuable resources, including ongoing educational programs, opportunities to participate in national clinical trials, and complimentary samples of our patented Bio-Match® products. These products are scientifically formulated to provide relief from various vulvovaginal symptoms, such as dryness, irritation, unusual odor, itching, and pain.

We are proud to have distributed over 3 million Bio-Match® vaginal care samples to hospitals, clinics, non-profit organizations, and independent medical practices, supporting over 20,000 healthcare professionals nationwide. Our network's organic growth of 20% annually reflects the increasing recognition of the importance of microbiome-focused vaginal care.

Powered by Advanced Research
into Vaginal Microbiome Health

Vaginal Biome Science (VBS), the Institute’s sister company, is a pioneering biotechnology leader dedicated to revolutionizing women's vaginal healthcare through scientific innovation. At the core of VBS's mission is the firm belief that precise, quantitative measurement of the vaginal microbiome is absolutely foundational to understanding and maintaining optimal vaginal health.

VBS drives this mission forward with two key initiatives: First, its patented Bio-Match® technology leverages the principles of biomimicry, meticulously replicating nature's processes to create and sustain ideal vaginal conditions. Second, its groundbreaking VENUS Study represents a comprehensive, large-scale research trial. This study collects extensive data, including qPCR and Whole Genome Sequencing, across 12 prevalent vaginal diagnoses, providing an unparalleled depth of insight.

Through these efforts, VBS is not only developing innovative product solutions but also generating actionable insights that empower healthcare providers and individuals alike to make informed decisions about vaginal health and wellness.
